We write this at the end of a week long install at The Pavilion, Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds - in preparation for the coming weekend and the launch of Festival of Thrift 2017. It seems like only yesterday that we were here at the museum, prepping the STABLE project exhibition space in the Grade II listed buildings on the site.
This week has mostly been full of conversations about tones of blue (paint), how to show a colony of bees and a full on collaborative effort to work in the space and make it work for the group exhibition. This is the largest space the work will be shown in throughout the touring exhibition, so it is a great opportunity to showcase the work to it's max. We'd love for you to come along and join us at Festival of Thrift this weekend (23rd & 24th September). All of the artists and Navigator North will be present throughout the weekend. Come and find us in the Pavilion (in the purple zone), ask questions, make a purchase or two from our artist gift range and selection of artist limited editions.
Without further ado, here are some photos from the install week...
